“Jonathan Majors arrested in New York City after domestic dispute”

Rising Hollywood Star Jonathan Majors Arrested on Charges of Strangulation and Assault in Domestic Dispute

Jonathan Majors, the actor best known for his roles in “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” was arrested on Saturday in New York City after a domestic dispute involving a 30-year-old woman. Majors faces charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment.

Police responded to a 911 call from an apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood at around 11 a.m. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she is now in stable condition.

Majors was taken into custody without incident and released on Saturday night, though the NYPD spokesperson did not disclose any further details about the case.

A representative for the actor denied the allegations, stating that Majors “had done nothing wrong” and expressing confidence that he will be cleared of all charges.

Despite this legal setback, Majors remains one of the most promising young actors in Hollywood. He gained critical acclaim for his role in “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” in 2019 and has since starred in a series of high-profile movies, including “Da 5 Bloods,” “The Harder They Fall,” and “Devotion.” He is set to appear in the upcoming Searchlight Pictures release “Magazine Dreams,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

The case against Majors is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
